The PM and his guest spent most of the time discussing the situation in the Western Balkans, agreeing that the countries in the region need a clear Euro-Atlantic perspective, as only in this way would they be able to face future political and economic challenges. They also paid particular attention to intercultural dialogue, one of the priorities of Slovenian EU presidency in the first half of 2008.
