JADRANKA GUSTINČIČ, M.A., ACTING HEAD OF THE PRIME MINISTER'S CABINET

Jadranka Gustinčič MSc was born on 3 December 1969 in Reka. After attending primary school in Podgrad near Ilirska Bistrica, she finished the Secondary School for Social Sciences and Culture in Ljubljana. She continued her studies at the High School of Social Work and graduated in 1991. She graduated from the University College of Social Work where she pursued part time study; in 2000, she obtained her masters degree in education and human resources at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Kranj, in 2000. Her professional career started at the former Ljubljana Moste-Polje Municipality and continued at the Ljubljana Administrative Unit, Branch Office Moste-Polje where she was employed by July 2003. During twelve years of employment, she was engaged in various tasks in the field of social activities and general administration and acquired vast experience in general, personnel and financial operations, as well as in all other areas of work of administrative units and state administration in general. In July 2003, she was employed by the Administrative Office of the Prime Minister where she continued to work for the next two terms of office. She worked as a Deputy Head of the Office from December 2008 to her appointment as acting Head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia.
