Deputy Andrej Vizjak of the SDS group asked what action the Government would be taking to tackle more effectively the economic and financial crisis, avert bankruptcies and lay-offs, and deal with other issues facing the Slovenian economy. Deputy Srečko Prijatelj of the SNS asked Prime Minister Pahor whether resolutions on savings measures were truly the Government’s priority and whether, with these resolutions, he had offered a strong enough vision of how to tackle the current economic and financial crisis. Deputy Radovan Žerjav of the SLS enquired what the Government would be doing to tackle increasing unemployment and prevent companies, including Mura and other important Slovenian firms, from going bankrupt. Deputy Borut Sajovic of the LDS asked the Prime Minister about the setting up of a national investigation office and about provision of appropriate financial and material resources.
