Prime Minister Pahor attends the continuation of the 5th regular session of the National Assembly

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia today attended the continuation of the 5th regular session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, at which the Prime Minister’s response to the question raised by Deputy Franc Bogovič concerning the reorganisation of Slovenia’s generation of electricity was discussed.

At today’s session, Mr Pahor stressed that, within the EU energy and climate package, Slovenia has highly ambitious goals linked in particular to more efficient use of renewable resources. In this connection, he added that as part of the reorganisation of Slovenia’s electricity production, a new document would be drafted with the following key guidelines: reliable energy supply, competitiveness and sustainable development.
