In his introductory address, Prime Minister Pahor sincerely congratulated the young winners and expressed his pleasure at being able to attend today’s ceremony. "Your attitude to the ideas of diversity conveys a special joy because, even though you are so young, you reveal your inspiration for thinking about the future and your own identity."

Mr Pahor emphasised that such issues are extremely important, since they relate not only to our present but largely also to the future of the young generation in general. "Each of us is different and it is this very diversity that needs to be integrated into harmonious coexistence, so that every one of us may follow their dreams."
