Prime Minister Pahor hosts Jordanian Prime Minister Nader Dahabi

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, today held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Nader Dahabi. The two addressed bilateral relations between the countries and agreed that they needed to be further enhanced.
 
The two prime ministers stressed that particular attention must be devoted to strengthening economic co-operation between the countries and to finding ways of promoting closer co-operation in this field. They exchanged positions and information regarding different international issues, as well as relations between the European Union and Jordan, and Jordanian efforts to strengthen these relations. The two prime ministers also attended the signing ceremony for the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments (JAPTI) and the Jordan Investment Board (JIB) at today’s closing of the Slovenian and Jordanian Business Forum at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.

The discussion also addressed current developments in the European Union and at the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI), as Al al-Bayt University in Jordan is one of its founding members.
