After the meeting, Mr Pahor expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stressing that the initiative of President Türk is extremely important since it enables discussion on setting priorities with respect to the development of the Slovenian constitutional order, which is of vital importance.  Mr Pahor also stressed that time should be taken to deliberate on these proposals in order to establish which would receive majority support from deputies. “It is important to highlight the initiatives for amendments to the Constitution which are substantive and then examine them in detail in the context of expert debate.”
