Prime Minister Pahor attends Rebrnica motorway section opening

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, today attended the opening of the Razdrto-Vipava motorway section and addressed the participants assembled for the ceremony. First, he introduced three young villagers – Erik Mislej from Lozice, Ana Semenič from Podnanos and Luka Bratuž from Podgrič – who in cutting the ribbon officially opened the new motorway section.  Prime Minister Pahor continued by saying that "ten years have passed since the adoption of the detailed plan for the motorway across Rebrnice. And today, the connection of the Vipava Valley to the Slovenian motorway network will finally be established."

The Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction with the completion of a significant infrastructure facility this month. "Slovenia is rapidly completing its motorway network," emphasised the Prime Minister, adding that the new motorway section would contribute to better traffic flow and lower pollution, and "in particular, provide better safety for users, which pleases me as much as it pleases you, because road safety is one of the priorities of our country."
