Toy collecting humanitarian initiative at the Prime Minister's Office
In December 2009, the staff at the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, alongside the ministries and other government services, organised a humanitarian initiative of collecting toys, which were given to children as presents. As the response to this initiative was extremely positive, the participants hope that it cheered up many children who due to various circumstances could otherwise not enjoy such attention.

The gifts collected at the Prime Minister's Office were dispensed to the Malči Belič Youth Centre in Ljubljana, the Caritas Samarijan Institution, the Safe House for Primorska in Nova Gorica, the Krško Social Work Centre and the Pedenjped Novo Mesto kindergarten, the Pikapolonica unit.
