Prime Minister Borut Pahor meets representatives from employers’ organisations

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, had a meeting today at the Government Palace with representatives from employers' organisations. The initiative for the meeting was given on the part of the employers who wished to acquaint the Government representatives with their positions and proposals related to the measures being prepared by the Government in the context of the exit strategy.

The participants of the meeting focused their discussion on the issue of weak liquidity of the economy, the lack of availability of long-term assets in the Slovenian banking system and the planned measures in the labour market. 

   

Prime Minister Pahor assured all those present that in the implementation of measures for increasing the competitiveness of the economy the Government will take into consideration the proposals of the representatives of the economy to the maximum possible extent.  To this end, the intensity of similar working meetings will increase in the months to come in order to prepare specific legislative solutions in the shortest possible time.
