"The Croatian Prime Minister and I share the expectation that Saturday's conference, which we have planned together, would be a success", said the Slovenian Prime Minister, adding that "here, we are dealing with a number of specific problems, which, so far, no one else has managed to resolve". Regardless of all the obstacles, the attempt made by Slovenia and Croatia to organise this conference has been a sincere one. Mr Pahor then answered certain questions related to the current domestic political developments. When asked about his expectations regarding Friday's meeting with the Minister of Justice Aleš Zalar and the State Prosecutor General Barbara Brezigar, Prime Minsiter Pahor said that he expected this meeting to establish the facts. "However, we all agree that any decision will require conclusive arguments", added Mr Pahor. Elaborating on the question about Mr Isajlović, the counsellor to the Minister of Finance, Franci Križanič, the Slovenian Prime Minister said the "the Minister has the discretion to choose his own associates, while in my capacity as Prime Minister, I have the right to choose my own staff".
