The management of Telekom Slovenia presented the planned organisational changes, business and marketing challenges, difficulties of operational nature and investments in South-Eastern Europe. Prime Minister Pahor expressed his satisfaction with the plans of Telekom Slovenia, since the Slovenia’s  telecommunications operator would thus respond to market changes. "Telekom Slovenia Group has assessed that it can carry out all the structural reforms by itself without capital increase and become an important player not only in domestic market but also in certain, for Slovenia very important, foreign markets", noted the Prime Minister. He added that "The state, as an important owner, is very interested in the future business plans and prospects and at today’s meeting we were assured that the management board and supervisory board have a plan which will ensure that Telekom Slovenia, despite a strong competition, will make profit and provide new investments in technological changes, which are the most demanding and fast in this area. In short, we will have a group, which will be responsive to changes in domestic and, in particular,  foreign environments. This is very important for the state", emphasised the Prime Minister Pahor.  He ensured that the Government would, to the best of its ability, assist Telekom to achieve the set objectives, also by providing support in entering foreign markets.
