Prime Minister Pahor receives the Peace Light from Betlehem

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, today received the representatives of Slovenian scouts and guides who brought him the Peace Light from Betlehem. The Peace Light from Betlehem campaign started in 1986 and is today conducted throughout Europe and beyond whilst in Slovenia, this action has been carried out for twenty years. Prime Minister Pahor said that he had received the Peace Light as the President of the National Assembly and this year for the first time he received it as the President of the Government.  The message that the Peace Light bears is of utmost importance and is still relevant today.  Peace, warmth, mutual support and connectedness are not something we can take for granted and we should do our best to maintain them in our personal relations.
