Prime Minister Janez Janša receives Speaker of Albanian Parliament, Dr Jozefina Çoba Topalli, with parliamentary delegation

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, today met with the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Dr Jozefina Çoba Topalli.

 

The two politicians agreed that bilateral relations between the two countries are very good and that there are no outstanding issues. Political cooperation between Slovenia and Albania should, however, be enhanced through trade expansion and cooperation in the area of investments.

 

Acknowledging the positive role Albania is playing in the Western Balkans, Dr Topalli and Prime Minister Janša also discussed the enlargement of the European Union to the Western Balkans. Prime Minister Janša expressed his support for Albania's efforts to become part of the European perspective.
