At the fifth regular session of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, answered four questions: three were raised by opposition deputies and one came from the coalition side.

Deputy Tamara Vonta from Positive Slovenia was interested to know when and how the Government would comply with the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Kurić and others versus Slovenia. The head of the SD deputy group, Janko Veber, asked about the Government's plans to protect workers in troubled companies and measures or policies aimed at supporting individual sectors of crucial importance for economic recovery.    Deputy Barbara Žgajner Tavš from Positive Slovenia asked the Prime Minister about the positive effects of the Fiscal Balance Act on social security, including the pension system, which would enable Slovenia and its citizens to exit the crisis sooner while preserving the postulates of our state enshrined in the constitution. The head of the SLS coalition deputy group, Mihael Prevc, asked what measures the Government intended to adopt to increase the number of audits and investigations of negligent and illegal activities associated with economic crime, corruption and financial fraud. Furthermore, he inquired about the benefits of amendments to legislation governing justice for speedier and more efficient proceedings from the indictment to the final guilty verdict.
