The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, congratulates Urška Žolnir on winning the first women’s Olympic gold medal

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, congratulated Urška Žolnir on winning the first women’s Olympic gold medal.

 

On the occasion of this remarkable achievement, the Prime Minister wrote that Urška had succeeded in establishing a balance between physical strength and peace of mind, by which she had beat her rivals. Hsun Tse-ya once said: “There are no brilliant moments without perseverance and determined efforts” wrote Prime Minister Janša and added that Urška Žolnir experienced a brilliant moment on this very day and that Slovenia was proud of her.
