Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša offers condolences to US President Barack Obama

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, expressed his condolences to the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, following the horrific shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, Connecticut, which left 20 children dead.

 

‘On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and on my own behalf, I convey our sincere condolences on this tragic event,’ Prime Minister Janez Janša wrote in his telegram. He asked President Barack Obama to pass on his condolences to the victims’ families.

 

In his telegram, the Prime Minister strongly condemned ‘unreasonable violence against the most vulnerable, for which there can be no excuse’.
