"This year, I will again take part in the "Let's Clean Slovenia in One Day" campaign – a campaign I strongly support. I am very pleased that its objective is not only to remove the waste polluting our environment, but also to raise people's awareness of environmental issues. In previous years, I, in the capacity of President of the Tomo Brejc Vir Local Community, took part in this campaign as a member of the community's coordination team, while, this year, I will personally join other participants in collecting and removing waste. I intend to join the campaign by helping to clean the footpath along the Kamniška Bistrica River; however, should the campaign's organisers or coordinators in our area consider that my assistance is required elsewhere, I would be happy to oblige. I certainly hope that many people will participate in this campaign, thereby giving their support to the organisers and all those who are working to keep our environment clean. Above all, I would like to see Domžale Municipality cleaner than ever before". Lovro Lončar, M.Sc, State Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.

"Let's Clean Slovenia in One Day" is a campaign which truly brings people together.  My purpose in participating in this campaign is to help clean "before my own doorstep", that is to say in Malečnik at Maribor where I also spend my free time. I believe that the over a quarter of a million hands participating in this campaign will do a great deal both for themselves and Slovenia". Janez Ujčič, State Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office

"In one's personal life, one has three friends: material assets, family and good deeds. The first accompanies us to death, the second to the grave and the third beyond the grave …By taking part in this good deed, we will therefore do much more – not only for this spring, but also for this and the following year. This is an example of a pattern of life we should stick to if we want to preserve our precious environment and provide for a healthier lifestyle. There is much symbolism in this joint action, one that by generating huge amounts of energy gives a good example of cleansing at various levels … Don't you think that by cleaning soil and the environment, we also "clean" ourselves, our habits and manners – our mutual relationships and society in general? Therefore, let's go and join this universal cleaning campaign, and let's clean Slovenia and, perhaps, even something more!" Barbra Borota, State Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.

"I will also be one of many volunteers who, in participating in the "Let's Clean Slovenia in One Day" campaign, will join forces and demonstrate our environmental awareness, one that tells us that it is our duty to leave the environment to our grandchildren in a condition that will enable them to work and live at least as well as – if not better than – our generations. Together with my colleagues from the Ilirija Ski Jumping Club, I will take part in cleaning Mostec in the Šiška community or, more specifically, the area in the vicinity of the jumping hills, and in preparing the facilities for the summer season. In my opinion, the "Let's Clean Slovenia in One Day" campaign should become a daily campaign." Ljubomil Jasnič, State Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office.
