Prime Minister Janez Janša receives President of Swiss National Council Hansjörg Walter

 The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, today received the President of the National Council of the Swiss Confederation, Hansjörg Walter, and the representatives of all parliamentary parties.

 

The two statesmen agreed that bilateral relations between the two countries are very good. They  assessed the opportunities to further strengthen economic cooperation, particularly in the field of investments, as positive. They also touched on the responsibility of countries in ensuring the sustainability of public finances. Mr Walter supported the efforts that the Government of the Republic of Slovenia is making in this direction.
