At the second regular session of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, answered four questions; three were raised by opposition deputies and one came from the coalition side.

Deputy Alenka Bratušek from Positive Slovenia asked the Prime Minister why it was necessary to drastically curtail the social rights of citizens when there were also other ways to achieve the same objective; Deputy Majda Potrata from the Social Democrats was interested to know how Slovenia would implement the constitutional and legislative provisions, and meet the obligations arising from international documents that in education provide people with equal conditions in order to fully develop their skills and potential for innovation, and on the other hand provide teachers and scientific institutions with professional autonomy and opportunities for professional growth.  Deputy Melita Župevc from Positive Slovenia asked why the Government had decided to keep Slovenian troops in Afghanistan until ISAF completes its mission or, as planned, until the end of 2014. The head of the SDS deputy group, Jože Tanko, asked about the social consequences if the measures proposed by the Government to achieve fiscal balance were not adopted.
