The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, today congratulated cyclist Jani Brajkovič, the winner of the national cycle loop or the Tour of Slovenia.

In his letter of congratulations, the Prime Minister wrote, among other things, that Jani Brajkovič had proved throughout the 566.8 km long race and its many stages that he was on top form.  "With your persistence, strong will, hard work and durability, you have won a race for Slovenia again after four years, which is particularly invaluable since this was a win on home soil," the Prime Minister wrote, adding that we Slovenes are proud of his achievement and of the fact that our country has such top athletes.

In this regard, the Prime Minister wished the cyclist, Jani Brajkovič, great success in continuing on his path towards attaining world-class results, and expressed his hope that his persistence and durability would serve as an inspiration to other younger cyclists who are embarking on their paths to success.
