Prime Minister Janez Janša congratulates newly appointed Greek prime minister

The Slovenian Prime Minister, Janez Janša, today congratulated Antonis Samaras, the leader of the Greek New Democracy party, who was sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Greece following today's agreement on the composition of the new Greek government. 

 

In his letter of congratulations, Prime Minister Janez Janša wrote that the Greek elections had been carried out during a period when Greece and the rest of the European Union were faced with significant challenges. He said he was pleased that Greece's new prime minister had expressed his commitment to upholding common European values and principles, which are of the utmost importance for  common success in the future.

 

The Slovenian Prime Minister, Janez Janša, wished the Greek Prime Minister, Antonis Samaras, every success in carrying out his important and responsible duties ahead.
