Prime Minister Janez Janša offers condolences to families of the people killed in tragic hot-air balloon crash

On my behalf and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, I convey our sincere and profound condolences to the families of all who have lost their lives in today's tragic accident.

   

I was greatly shocked by this morning's tragedy, as the passengers in the unfortunate flight were also children and young people. I deeply sympathise with all who were personally affected by the accident and at this moment still fear for the lives of their dear ones.

   

I trust in the work of medical staff, firefighters, rescue service and all others participating in the elimination of the consequences of this terrible accident and I am certain they will provide all the necessary care to those involved in the accident and will do everything in their power for their quick recovery.
