The Prime Mister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, today sent a letter of congratulations to Slovenian skier Tina Maze for her outstanding achievements in this year's alpine skiing season. He says that not a week went by this winter that she did not delight the Slovenians with her top results. After today's "historic run" down the Pohorje ski slope, Prime Minister Janša wrote to our "golden" skier Maze: "Your perseverance and top team led to your well-deserved success. I am convinced that, owing to your strength and self-confidence, there will be many more achievements coming your way," and added that Maze' success this season will go down in the annals of Slovenian sports history. Slovenia needs them and is proud of her success.
