Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, and Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, agreed today to meet on March 10th of this year. The meeting will be devoted to the agreement about the resolution of the problem of transferred deposits of the clients of the former Zagreb branch of Ljubljanska banka, and to the assessment of advantages and opportunities to be brought by the forthcoming EU membership of the Republic of Croatia.

The authorised representatives of both prime ministers are expected to finalise the draft agreement until the meeting. The Prime Minister of Slovenia today appointed Mr Tone Kajzer, State secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, as the authorised representative. This will ensure the continuity and necessary credibility in seeking and determination of the solution. This could be otherwise endangered by the repeating public statements of Karl Erjavec, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, about his withdrawal from the Government, and by his excessive tendency for public appearances.
