Meeting between the Slovenian Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek and Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer
On the margins of the Bled Strategic Forum, the Slovenian Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek met with the Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer. Ms Bratušek and Mr Fischer highlighted the importance of good cooperation between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Austria at all levels.
They expressed their satisfaction with political and economic cooperation between the two countries which has been further enhanced this year by several meetings held at the highest levels. The Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Austria are natural allies both in the regional context and the context of mutual initiatives and interests within the European Union. In their talks, Ms Bratušek and Mr Fischer advocated further strengthening of political and in particular economic cooperation, agreeing that political stability is the prerequisite for economic recovery and exit from the crisis in all EU Member States.
