At the press conference, in which the presidents of the coalition parties also participated, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, once again thanked the deputies for their trust, the ministers for a job well done and the presidents of the coalition parties for the compromises regarding good solutions for Slovenia. She emphasised that the Government's common guiding principle is a welfare and economically successful Slovenia and asserted that the Government will continue with this commitment in the future.

"We have done the most that could be done in this relatively short term and today's report from Brussels confirms our work," said Ms Bratušek and explained that the Government has drafted good and realistic budgets for the next two years, prepared everything necessary for the rehabilitation of the banking system and provided money for the payment of all liabilities of the state. It has also launched an intensive fight against the shadow economy and tax evaders. "The Government's measures affect the people and the economy as little as possible," asserted Ms Bratušek and emphasised that according to the last two reports, the European Commission also trusts this Government. Finally, Ms Bratušek expressed her confidence in the work of the ministers and the will of the presidents of the coalition parties and the coalition itself, and stressed that the citizens will soon feel the positive effects.
