Prime Minister Bratušek officially opens 53rd Dom International Fair

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, attended the ceremony marking the opening of the 53rd Dom International Fair at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. In her opening address, she stressed the advantages of the Fair, saying that "anyone who needs help in construction or renewal can find a comprehensive answer to all his questions in one place." The Prime Minister highlighted that "the Dom International Fair brings many innovative design solutions of Slovenian and foreign producers, placing a special emphasis on green technologies and protection of the environment."

 

According to the Prime Minister, events like the Dom Fair significantly contribute to export and gross investments growth, better drawing on EU funds and increase in consumption. She noted that "building one's own home should be associated, in particular, with feeling happy and safe and the Dom Fair has been promoting this for over half a century. The Fair also provides a unique opportunity for customers to create special bonds with producers and obtain expert information in one place." Prime Minister Bratušek concluded by congratulating the recipients of awards Quality Label in Construction who with their innovations and technological achievements significantly contributed to the improvement in quality and competitiveness of products, technologies and services in the Slovenian construction industry. She wished the visitors of the Fair to "find all the information they need and the clue for building energy efficient, sustainable, and, above all, cosy home."
