The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, received the Austrian Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs, Sebastian Kurz. Ms Bratušek and Mr Kurz agreed that political and economic relations between the two countries are very good; however, there are still opportunities to enhance the cooperation in the economy. Ms Bratušek acquainted her guest with the privatisation process of state-owned companies and emphasised that the aim of the Slovenian Government is to acquire good strategic partners.

Ms Bratušek and Mr Kurz also exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine and touched on the issue of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They agreed that, despite the Ukraine crisis, special attention should be devoted to Bosnia and Herzegovina and encourage it in its European integration process.
