Reception at the end of the 22nd Winter Olympics
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, and the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, hosted a reception for the athletes at the end of the 22nd Winter Olympics in Sochi in the Presidential Palace. In her address, the Prime Minister underlined that she was proud of the achievements and the outstanding results of our athletes at this year's Winter Olympics. She highlighted the exemplary team work and role of the best promoters of Slovenia. The Prime Minister also expressed her delight that, despite the difficult situation in the country, solutions to stimulate the Slovenian top athletes were found. One of them is an agreement on employment of top athletes and coaches in the Slovenian Armed Forces, Police and Customs Administration which makes a significant contribution to the development of the top sports in Slovenia.
