Prime Minister attends PODIM Conference

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, today attended the opening ceremony of the 34th PODIM conference on entrepreneurship in Maribor. In her address she stressed the fact that such conferences, targeting and bringing together young entrepreneurs are of paramount importance for the development of Slovenian entrepreneurship and for the future of young people.


Prime Minister said that the Government was taking action to exit the crisis having in mind in particular the young people, the future generations. "The young that are to lead the world in the future shall obtain from their home country all they need for a successful life - the best education, a favourable business environment and a society that supports them in their endeavours," stressed Ms Bratušek.


"It is my firm belief that young people must take risks, must be innovative and must have the courage to become entrepreneurs. I wish that young people would have higher ambitions and would follow their dreams and realise their ideas more often.In this context you, the organizers of the PODIM conference for young entrepreneurs, are setting a very positive example – you understand the significance of innovations, act proactively and teach us that being successful means being innovative," said Prime Minister Bratušek.
