Prime Minister's first visit to Brussels

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, will travel to Brussels on Tuesday, 9 April 2013. In the course of her first visit abroad, Ms Bratušek will hold talks with the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, and the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz. Topics discussed at the meetings will focus on the current economic and financial situation in the European Union and the future of EMU. Ms Bratušek will inform her hosts of measures adopted by the Slovenian Government to tackle the crisis.
