Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek congratulates Slovenian ski jumpers: "You have raised our awareness that we can be the best in the world"

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, extended her congratulations at the end of the remarkable Ski Jumping World Cup season to Jurij Tepeš, Jaka Hvala, Robert Kranjec, Peter Prevc, Matjaž Pungertar, Andraž Pograjc, head coach Goran Janus, and all team members who made these exceptional successes possible.

 

"We seem to be poorly aware that the sports results rank Slovenian athletes among the best in the world. These achievements are important not only for the visibility of Slovenia in the world but are also of great significance to the citizens of the Republic of Slovenia who follow your competitions with pride, optimism and anticipation. Thanks to your achievements, Slovenian sport brings us together in the awareness that we can be the best," wrote Slovenian Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek in her letter of congratulations and said that next year in Sochi Slovenian eagles will again capture our attention and make us cheer them on with our fingers crossed.
