Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek takes note of the letter of resignation by Minister Igor Maher

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, today received and took note of the letter of resignation by Minister Igor Maher. Prime Minister Bratušek will, in the time limits laid down in the Rules of Procedure, inform the National Assembly of the resignation and submit a proposal for a new minister of infrastructure and spatial planning within the statutory deadline.

   

Slovenian Prime Minister Bratušek understands the Minister Maher's offered resignation as a circumstance that will unburden the functioning of the new Government; she also expects that the course of action taken by Minister Maher will have a positive impact on future actions to be taken in similar cases calling for firm stance.

   

Resigning Minister Maher will be at the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Spatial Planning until the appointment of a new minister.
