Prime Minister Meets with Representatives of Economic Sector

Slovenian Prime Minister, Ms Alenka Bratušek, met today with representatives of the economic sector. Besides the Minister of Finance, Mr Uroš Čufer, the Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Mr Stanko Stepišnik, and the Minister of Health, Mr Tomaž Gantar, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the Manager's Association of Slovenia, the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, the Association of Employers of Slovenia, the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia and the Association of Employers in Craft and Small Business of Slovenia.

 

The Prime Minister expressed her satisfaction with the hand offered by the economic sector representatives and stressed that she wished for a close cooperation in the future, too, as the path leading Slovenia out of the crisis could be found only with joint and harmonised efforts.

 

At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek stressed that the Government, economic sector representatives and trade unions are harmonised in the pursuit of the desired objective, which is economic growth and new jobs that will follow. The participants agreed to prepare the solutions and the set of measures for the economy that the Government would thoroughly examine, after which they would meet again to reach an agreement about the joint way to exit the crisis.
