Meeting of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia with representatives of the Municipality of Ljubljana

Slovenian Prime Minister, Ms Alenka Bratušek, and ministers of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia met today with representatives of the Municipality of Ljubljana. The purpose of the meeting was to examine all open issues between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the capital of Slovenia.

 

The Prime Minister explained after the meeting that it had been organised at the initiative of the Municipality of Ljubljana and that many issues had been raised. Some of them had been resolved, while the rest would be addressed inside individual ministries in cooperation with professional services of the Municipality of Ljubljana, mostly by 30 September. "Many proposals made by the Municipality of Ljubljana refer to legislative changes and I would like to stress that these changes do not concern only the Ljubljana municipality but that matters will be resolved at the level of the whole Slovenia if we manage to agree on them." The Prime Minister concluded by stressing that she considered the meeting highly constructive and professional.
