Prime Minister Alenka Bratušek today in Idrija attended the ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the Kolektor group, one of the most successful Slovenian companies with high visibility in foreign markets. In her address she highlighted that the story of Kolektor is indeed "a success story since not many can take pride in such a high number of innovations or patents introduced in the past fifty years". Prime Minister Bratušek congratulated the leadership and employees for their innovativeness in finding their business partners and customers in many countries around the world. "And such innovativeness, orientation towards foreign markets and high value added serve as a signpost for Slovenia on its path to overcome the economic crisis," stressed the Prime Minister.

As part of her visit to Idrija, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Alenka Bratušek, also paid a visit to the Idrija Home for the Elderly, which is the first retirement home built through public-private partnership with the participation of the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, Jože Primožič-Miklavž Retirement Home, and company FMR d.d. This investment provides the municipality of Idrija and a wider Northern Primorska region with better housing conditions for the elderly, while retaining and creating new employment opportunities, which is another contribution to reducing the emigration of inhabitants.
