LDS MP Jožef Školč asked the PM to assess how well the code of ethics is observed in the cabinet, while the head of the SD parliamentary group, Miran Potrč, sought to know whether the PM thought that the failure to appoint a new Governor of the Bank of Slovenia has had an impact on the government's work and its preparations for the EU presidency. On behalf of the group of unaffiliated MPs, Dr Pavel Gantar asked the PM whether he supported the Higher Education and Research and Development Activities Act which is being drawn up by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology in terms of its content and the manner in which it has been being drawn up. The question from the coalition deputy Jožef Horvat (NSi) related to a recent invitation to the Republic of Slovenia to attend negotiations to join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Mr Horvat sought to know how the PM estimated the possibilities for a successful outcome of the negotiations, and what membership in the OECD would mean for Slovenia.
