The Slovenian PM and his guest assessed bilateral relations as very good and then focused on the situation in the Western Balkans, particularly the Kosovo issue. Macedonia highly appreciates Slovenia's assistance with the country's membership of the EU and NATO. According to Mr Janša, Slovenia will continue offer assistance in the future.

Prime Minister Gruevski also took the opportunity to thank the Slovenian government for assistance during the recent fires in Macedonia.
