The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr Janez Janša, today attended the ceremony marking the 92nd anniversary of the Russian Chapel under Vršič. The chapel is dedicated to the Russian prisoners of war who died while building the road over the Vršič pass. Many Slovenians and Russians also attended the event, which in addition to providing an opportunity to remember the tragic events, also strengthens relations and cooperation between Slovenia and Russia.
