Today the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Janez Janša, received the Prime Minister of the Kosovo temporary government, Mr Agim Ceku.

The statesmen discussed the current political and economic situation in Kosovo. Prime Minister Ceku described to Prime Minister Janša the endeavours of Kosovar institutions to meet democratic standards and emphasised the importance they attribute to the solution of Kosovo’s status.

 

Both prime ministers considered the development of economic cooperation between Slovenia and Kosovo to be positive and agreed that many new opportunities still remained open.
