Deputy Sašo Peče from the Lipa group asked the Prime Minister what the Slovenian Government had done within the institution of the EU Presidency to protect the national interests and territorial integrity of the Republic of Slovenia in the light of recent developments on the Slovenian-Croatian border. PM Janez Janša was asked a similar question on the territorial integrity of the Republic of Slovenia by Zmago Jelinčič, leader of the SNS deputy group. Deputy Vili Tofenik from the Zares group – whose question was read, in his absence, by the President of the National Assembly – asked what the Government would do, in the light of the principle of equity, to eliminate unfair disparities between certain rates of pay in the public and the private sectors. Jože Tanko, leader of the SDS group in the parliament, asked the Prime Minister what positive effects of the introduction of the motorway toll vignettes were expected.
